WHO WE ARE – Ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses for Jehovah

 Who We Are

.:OUR RESPONSE TO A LETTER FROM A JEHOVAH’S WITNESS ASKING: “WHO ARE YOU? – Are You a Bunch of Apostates Who Don’t Believe Bible Teachings?”

I’m one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. When I read some of your statements on the website, it made me upset to think that there are really people out there like all of you who talk bad about us. Jehovah’s organization is the Truth, and some of you know that deep down in your hearts. But if this is your choice, I know it certainly will never be my choice. I will always praise and love Jehovah. I would never turn my back on Him and leave. Do you believe you are the true religion? How can you believe you are in the truth if you do not go door-to-door preaching the Kingdom? Are you just a bunch of ‘apostates’ who left the Watchtower because you don’t want to adhere to Bible standards? Do you celebrate pagan holidays, believe in war and the Trinity?” Continue reading “WHO WE ARE – Ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses for Jehovah”

Stephen’s Facebook Page

I was born in 1977 and raised as a Jehovah’s Witnesses until I left at 18 years old.  From a very early age, my mother taught me to recite Scripture from memory.  When I was 6 years old, she married my stepfather who soon became an elder and required all of us children to become examples for the congregation. Oh, how we studied and studied those years to prove ourselves! God was never real to me. It was only how I was perceived by others in the congregation that mattered.

At 8 years old, I joined the Theocratic Ministry School, consistently commented at the meetings and was out in field service EVERY Saturday morning. But at 13 or 14 years of age, the need to be accepted by the “worldly kids” led me to rebel and lash out at school. I never rebelled violently, but I was tired of being different, and made fun of at school. So, I began to live the “double life” as they called it. Continue reading “Stephen – Ex-Jehovah’s Witness”

bullets David’s Article Corner

Raised as a Jehovah’s Witness in England and spending 49 years as a Watchtower captive, David and his wife Christine left to find true freedom in Christ. Going where the “need was great,” David had served in a number of leadership capacities within the organisation, only to find his efforts rewarded with unjustified shunning and a genuine “lack of love” among the “brothers” and “sisters” of the congregation. Only in a personal relationship with the Jesus, did David and his wife find what they had been longing for all their lives.

.:THE TESTIMONY OF CHRISTINE (David’s wife)

I was born in 1949 in England.  When my mother was pregnant with me; my aunt who was a Jehovah’s Witness convinced my mother to start a “Bible Study” with one of her Jehovah’s Witness friends. The woman who studied with my mother was considered to be one of the “anointed remnant” of the 144,000 1. spoken of in Revelation 7 and 14.  Thus, my mother and father joined Jehovah’s Witnesses before I was even born. .:THE WATCHTOWER AND THE UNITED NATIONS – The Watchtower Severs Its 10-Year Association With The United Nations After Public Exposure

For many years, the Watchtower Society has taught that the United Nations is “the present form of the ‘image of the wild beast’” of Revelation. The Society’s 1963 publication: Babylon the Great Has Fallen!” God’s Kingdom Rules! states on pages 593-594: Continue reading “The Watchtower And The United Nations”
