I was disfellowshipped. Does Jehovah God hate me?

.: I WAS DISFELLOWSHIPPED. DOES JEHOVAH GOD HATE ME?

I was disfellowshipped from Jehovah’s Witnesses. No one will talk to me at the Kingdom Hall. I am being shunned by my family and the only friends I have ever known.  I feel all alone. Does Jehovah God hate me too?”

Anne MarieOUR RESPONSE:

Dear friend,

My name is Anne Marie, and I can tell you with a resounding, NO! Jehovah God does not “hate” you!  It was not He who disfellowshipped you; it was fleshly men, and they are not the same thing.  Jehovah knows what you are going through… better than anyone else.  He knows your confusion, your despair, and your pain. I’m thinking about leaving, but I’m confused! Does anyone have the truth?

I’M THINKING ABOUT LEAVING, BUT I’M CONFUSED! Does anyone have the truth?

.:HOW TO FIND TRUTH AFTER THE WATCHTOWER

“I’m beginning to question my faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, but I’m so confused! If I leave, where else can I go? Does anyone have the truth? I don’t know what to believe anymore. Is leaving REALLY worth loosing my Jehovah’s Witness friends and family?Continue reading “I’m thinking about leaving, but I’m confused! Does anyone have the truth?”

Did Jehovah’s Witness Predict the End of the World in 1975?

1975.:DID THE WATCHTOWER REALLY SAY THE END WOULD COME IN 1975?

“I’ve been studying with Jehovah’s Witnesses for a year and I am thinking about getting baptized, but I wanted to do some research into the history of the organization before I made my decision. Recently, I ran across statements on the Internet that claim that Jehovah’s Witnesses taught that the world would end in 1975, so I asked my bible study teacher about that. She flat out denied that the Watchtower ever taught that 1975 would be the end of the world. She said that a few individual Jehovah’s Witnesses thought the end would happen in 1975, but she said that the Watchtower Society never officially gave that date for the end of the world. I am confused! If the Watchtower Society never gave the 1975 date for the end of the world, why does Anne Marie on your website say that they did in their 1966 publication, Life Everlasting in Freedom of the Sons of God? Is there anyway I can get the documentation that Anne Marie talks about in her story?” Continue reading “Did Jehovah’s Witness Predict the End of the World in 1975?”

I was that young and pretty sister you might have seen at the Kingdom Hall. You know, the one with “all those kids.” The one who struggled to raise her children in “The Truth” alone. The one who was rarely considered as “wife material” because she was “damaged goods.” After all, “No one is going to want you and all your burdens!” as it was put to me by a well-meaning pioneer sister.

Like many of you, I was raised from a tender age to be a Jehovah’s Witness. I truly loved Jehovah all my life. I loved my Brothers and Sisters, and I truly believed that IT (the Watchtower Organization) was “THE Truth.” I grew up in San Francisco, during the Vietnam War, the Black Panthers, riots, protests, and the “Hippie” movement, and I became disillusioned with “the truth,” leaving it at age fifteen, since I believed Jehovah God was going to “kill me anyway” because I would never be “good enough.”  Also, I was sick of the gossip, the judgments, and the fear of Armageddon…which was always “just around the corner.” But pregnant with my fourth child at nineteen, (after my children’s father had walked out on us in late 1974), the Jehovah’s Witnesses asked me, “How can you let your children die just because you don’t want to live up to Jehovah’s righteous requirements? Do you REALLY want your children’s blood on your hands?” Continue reading “Anne Marie – Ex-Jehovah’s Witness”
